She slowly puts down the harp, and listens to some of the many shouts around her: >"What this place needs is a bard!" he mutters, turning around to face >the otther guests. "Anybody know any good filk [sic] songs, or at >least a riddle or a tale from their adventures? Let's hear, then!" and: > wanna hear my favourite song...that that...errr...'Moongleam and >Meadowshweet'! Sho play it, bard! Where's my ale, girl?!" She looks up at the owner and smiles, sweetly. "I would guess this means I'm hired, then." Her gaze returns to the woman by the fire, to see if she enjoyed the ballad she had requested. Meanwhile, she tries to recall whether she knows any songs that would appease the shouting mass of drunkards.... Hmm. "The Tale of the Lusty Tavern Wench?" or the rollicking ballad of "Stig the Sailor?" Ugh. She shudders at the thought of how she will be earning her living for the next several weeks. "Ah well," she thinks to herself, "things are as they must be." She picks up the harp once more, and waits for requests.
