Silently, a six-foot figure in a long, hooded cloak (9 out of 10 sages recommend cloaks to people who travel) walks through the open doors, which silently fall shut behind him. After entering, he casually tosses back his hood to reveal a human-appearing face, that appears to have been severely sunburned. With his jet-black hair, he comes close to looking like a devil, but he doesn't have horns or hooves. Slowly, the stranger scans the bar. Pausing only to study the drow, and to give the cleric a long, intimidating glare. Apparently not finding what he was looking for, he moves on with a flourish of his cloak, revealing a set of daggers strapped across his chest, and a broad sword sheathed at his side. He grabs an unused chair from the table of a shrouded lady and pulls up a seat where he can listen to the minstrel. At a break between songs, he speaks in a deep, raspy voice (even more so then Rod Stewart!), "Play something about battles between gods and demons. Something that stirs the soul, something that makes the listeners feel the power of the battle between good and evil." After making his request he produces a gold coin from deep inside his cloak and tosses it towards Rowan. Slowly, the stranger leans back in his chair and seems to become lost in his thoughts, as the minstrel starts up her next tune. -------- Scott
