>Polar Bear never responded. Guess I'll have to take up the slack...

Taking the human's silence as consent, Thorr deposits his halberd behind his
chair and proceeds to order for the table. He replenishes his dwarf-spirits
and offers Polar her choice.

A little while later, a commotion arises from the kitchen.

>Briefly paraphrased: The cook asked the minotaur to order some REAL food.

Being a hungry soul (and always happy to sample enourmous amounts of
good cooking) he orders in a voice equally as bone-rattling as the ogre's:
"Ram, straight from the mountains! A large one; one that lived well before
becoming my meal! I haven't had DECENT meat in ages."

Suddenly a buzzing noise arises from the minotaur's right shoulder. Firelight
glints off polished horn as Thorr turns and asks with a rumbling laugh,"What do
you want, Gleep?"

A small reptilean creature appears and hisses at him. Shaking his head, Thorr
calls out to the barmaid. "Some of these...French fries for my friend here.
And give the young mopper a glass of his choice. It is not often I run into
those with knowledge of my people's customs."

That said, Thorr turns to the bard. "You play well, but look worn out. Take
a break." Raising his voice, he calls out (not QUITE loud enough to deafen the
room), "Someone weave a tale to give the poor song-smith a rest!!" Looking
around, he settles back into his seat, bringing his companion into his lap and
petting him as the first person steps forward to begin their tale....

Who has a good story to tell? I assume most of these characters come with
background. Thorr-kan doesn't. Until just recently, he was going to be a
character in a writing assignment. But then we got a better offer!
