Subject: ADMIN: A few simple thoughts.

It is indeed amazing to consider the volume of posts this group has seen
over the first few days of its existence. Just a few thoughts about it:

1. Thank you to the person who suggested that the patron list be kept by
somebody, instead of being continually updated on the group. This will make
it (a) easier to keep up to date, and (b) less clutter on the group. And
most hearty thanks to the person who volunteered to do it! (Sorry, I have
lost both of your names.)

2. This group was created at the instigation of Nightstalker the Wizard, so
_please_ adhere to his (quite reasonable) guidelines for posts.

3. Unfortunately, there does appear to be some confusion because of the
names of Rowan Littlefair (the innkeeper, created by Nightstalker in his
post guidelines) and Rowan Pathfinder the Bard (persona of one of the
posters). The Australian posters are used to seeing Rowan as the name of
the innkeeper, while the rest of the world identifies Rowan with the bard.
Now that the whole world are communicating on this group, we need to adopt
something more distinctive for Littlefair. (Nightstalker is looking over
my shoulder in RL and suggests just calling him 'Littlefair'.)

4. Perhaps the number of people who want to be violent and disruptive in
this group warrant their own group: alt.pub.bar-room-brawl.  1/2 :-)
If someone wants to create this group, please do. I intend staying here
and using this group for its originally intended purpose.
