As the latest patron enters the inn, a chill passes through the room.

No, I mean it, a chill, really, the temperature drops and everything.

A tiny silver and white shape flutters through the broken window,
circles the room three times and alights with a faint *plunk* on the
bar. The figure stands to the full height of six inches (or a bit over
15 cm, depending on your perspective) topped by a wild tangle of snowy
white. His wings, delicately etched with patterns of frost, shimmer in
the firelight.

A voice pushing the very upper range of human hearing squeaks out TGood
Innkeeper, someone to tend to my steed if you please, and I would thank
you for a room if there is one to be had, umm, it neednUt a fire.

TMmmm, now for a bit of drink and a good meal. . . Bartender!U
