Message-ID: References: Date: Wed, 13 May 1992 01:07:13 GMT The raven continues its survey of the room, quickly filling up with mysterious cloaked figures who sit in corners... The raven's eyes peer at each customer trying to find nice little shiny objects without a guardian. No luck! There seems to be at least 10 corners in this Inn, all inhabited by a cloaked figure (sitting alone, of course). All that shines are those 10 sword hilts that just happen to be visible from underneath their cloaks. Other than that there seems to be a bar with a row of stools at the front of it and a very extensive collection of imported vines and beers behind it. All the stools except one seem to be empty. On that stool rests a box of some sort. The Innkeeper and his pet seem to have gone to the back room to get more Guinness, but the tables near the fireplace seem crowded. A cloaked figure (who else?) nearest to the fire is obviously hungry and can't wait for the Innkeeper to re-appear. He (or her) is frying some potatoes by the fire. He's resting his elbow on the brick that seems quite loose. The stairs leading up seem very sturdy and could probably hold two people carrying large chests filled with gold. Being dark, nothing much can be seen of the upstairs itself. The walls of this Inn seem to be covered by paintings of dragons and various people. Between the paintings there are some torches a'blaze. There seems to be only one door to the Inn (visible). Both it and the windows seem closed at the moment. It's 12 o'clock and dark outside. A storm is developing. The raven suddenly notices something very interesting and flies off the table. 'Now, I wonder who has left such a lovely french fry on the floor there..' It seems too burned to be eaten and the raven is left hungry. A mouse runs across the floor. 'Food! I'll catch that one for sure.' The gray mouse runs into a large crack on the floor. The raven follows after... 'Dusk! Where did you go? Come to master...' -- ...............................................................................
