A silent and lonely figure walks along the Dragon's Lane, now and
then dropping newspapers in small boxes and on the door steps. Most
of the houses are still dark. There are some exceptions, of course.
There's the Court House where Judge Dee's window is still lit. 'No
doubt our judge is still working on some mysterious case', thinks
the newspaper boy. Then there is Wen's curio shop, just about to open
for business. And of course the Dragon's Inn, open always.

The boy opens the door to the Inn suddenly, or so it seems to the
ones inside. "Mr. Littlefair, your morning mail!" The boy throws
the paper expertly towards the innkeeper. It lands between mugs
of ale and not a drop is spilled! The boy then proceeds towards
the notice board and affixes a small piece of paper on it. The
paper reads:
		"TOURNEY TODAY!
		 At Town Square, 12 o'clock!
		 Huuuuge prizes!
			<Melwis the wise>"

As uneventfully (and suddenly) as the boy entered the Inn, he leaves it again.

(Feel free to use characters introduced in this article. Dee Jen-djieh
is a character created by Robert van Gulik, so please don't change him much.
Also, it would be a shame only to sit in a pub and leave Generica unused...)
