Newsgroups: alt.pub.dragons-inn From: mgb@geo.geol.utas.edu.au (Michael G. Brown) Subject: ADMIN: Two knightly NPC characters ... Message-ID: References: <1992May18.002541.6045@midway.uchicago.edu> Date: Mon, 18 May 1992 14:53:57 GMT With my character, Tojar Oridian, are two NPC's, Andor Kell and Orriam Fairburn. Feel free to use them, provided you don't go to far without consulting me. Both are mid-level knights, of about equal skill in most things. Andor is slightly older, and is the most favoured by Tojar. Orriam does not resent this, and is good friends with Andor. Both are totally devoted to their lord, and follow the same religous and knightly convictions. Sir Andor Kell, Seneschal to Baron Tojar Oridian: Andor is the son of a lesser noble, and while he is a good cavalier, he tends to be a bit on the high and mighty side. He thinks peasants should keep where they belong, in the gutter - unless, of course his honour can be server by helping them. He is extremely loyal to his liege, and will not tolerate the slightest impeachment of his masters honour or character. This has got him in to trouble on more than one occasion, going of half cocked. Sir Orriam Fairburn, Knight of Baron Tojar Oridian: Orriam is a bit more down to earth, although still a knight! He comes from a middle class background, so has respect for the common man. He enjoys company, and does not mind its social station too much, as long as it doesn't get him into trouble. Orriam is well liked by the soldiery, as he is a leader who can relate to his men - he knows what it is like to follow. Orriam is particularly friendly to half elves, and rangers. If you're a half-elven ranger, expect him to buy you a drink, and engage you in conversation! -- Michael G.
