Message-ID: <1992May19.174635.16880@rhrk.uni-kl.de> Date: Tue, 19 May 1992 17:46:35 GMT On Generica's main street, a huge fat man in a once-white burnus, wearing a scarf on his head, walks slowly toward the west. On his belt, a pouch and two sheaths with daggers can be seen, and the rucksack on his back looks heavy enough to explain the tired look on his face. It is difficult to tell his age, he could be 20 or 40. His nose makes one think of a rudder, and the brows almost meet. His skin colour is a light brown. He makes way for a galloping troop of riders that came from a large house in front of him, and steers in direction of this house, where he sees some people hanging around. When he comes closer, he notices a dog, no, a wolf, sitting on the porch, and a large hawk on the eaves, eyeing him with suspicion, or rather, eyeing him as hawks do, which looks the same. A sign hangs over the door: __+__ _,-------_, _/ + \_ /~~>' _-~ | (O + O) | / _-~ \ \ / / | _-~ | \ / | / ~ ~~~~-_ \ |( " )| / | \ | | \./ | | / |~~\ |~~\ /~\ /~\ /~\ | | /~\ |\ | \ _/ |/ | | || || || || ||\ ||___ | | | __ _-~ \_/ | ||--< |---|| -- | || \ | | / / / _-~ ~~--_ _-~ \ |__/ | \| | \_/ \_/ | \| \_/ | | /-~ _-~ \ / / _-~ __ \ \ \\ | | || | | |__ / _-~ ~-_ \ \ \\ | |\ ||\ | | ~~--__--~ / _ \ \ | | | | | \ || \ | \ _-~ | //|\ ||\ ___ | | \|| \| ~~--__ / / ___ /--__ / /^\ ~~--___/ _-~ / /^\ / ~~~-----~ /___ _____/ _-~---~ /___ /| _ ~~--~~ /^\ /^< ___ ~~--~~ /^\ _-~/ / ~--__ ~~--~~~\ ~~ ~~--__ ~~--~~~\---~~ | / ~~--___--~~\ ~~--___--~~\ V The man glances first at Rhoan Pathkeeper, the woodsman tanking fresh air, then at a man in black clothing who seems to wait for somebody, then at Ratsel, who sits on the porch with a depressed look on the face. Shyly he greets the three by nodding, then he enters the inn. He surveys the crowd, and slowly his jaw drops. "So that's why the Oracle giggled!" he mutters.
