=-=With a grunt, he turns back to the table and notices the
ranger for the
=-=first time. "Welcome human. I did not see you before. Come,
sit, have
=-=a drink and tell me of yourself.

Rune eyes the tall grey-haired bull man, and his rumbling
voice
trigger recognition.

"You are the one who told that marvellous tale about betrayl
on the
shores of Ansalon! I beg your pardon, for I was concerned about
my
location with respect to my home forest.

"For now, I think that I have determined that I am merely in
a
kingdom to the south of the Hitar, although Aldrand here is
adamant that
that cannot be." Rune's eyes drift for a moment as if he is
listening to
something...

"We shall discuss that later, Aldrand." Rune says firmly to
the
longbow, and returns his attention to the being in front of him.

"I'd be honored to join you, Sir." Rune pulls out the chair
vacated by Polar Bear and sits down. "You seem to be one who
knows of
trecheary and betrayl. Mayhaps I could share with you another
such tale?"

Rune places Aldrand across the table and removes both the
thick
falconeer's gauntlet from his left hand, and the string-notched
and sweat
and soil stained leather glove from his right.
