Subject: Bakr: Strange things at the bar

  Bakr looks in astonishment at Gleep the pseudo-dragon and the three faeries,
then suspiciously scans Melkathiel, the goblin of dessstiny.  As the rest
of the folks at the bar all seem to be at least partly human  (Higar the
dwarf lies on the floor),  he doesn't pay attention to them first, although
he can't miss the conversation between Kadrys, Constantine, and Demian
about blood, undead, and the Beast.

  Max reappears behind the counter, and the newspaper is brought in.

  After getting his goat milk and paying for it, Bakr decides to sit down
at the fire.  He walks around the table with Tarisma Steremen and Corky
Bumbkin (which is, as you undoubtedly know, between bar and fireplace)
and takes a chair.
