  Bakr listens to Del Micek's romantic story about how he met an Elf, and
is deeply touched.  He speaks, with faltering voice, like someone who speaks
in a foreign tongue and doesn't want to make mistakes.  He does find the
right words, though (he thinks). 

  "That was a wonderful story, mylord Micek.  I like the woods too now.
At first they seemed to be... impassable ... impenetrable ... wildernesses
to me, as I am ... accustomed to deserts, but I learned to... appreciate
them."
