Linya sighed. What William told him at Fraulein Lydia's home had been true. They had woken up only when sunlight touched their sheets, after the story Talechaser had told. What was his brother planning? Did mother know? She carefully looked into the Inn again. It was filled with people. Over there, there was someone with a sword that seemed to be made from a single crystal. At the bar was what could only be a Troll, it's skin the hue of granite. A beautiful woman played the lute, and the melody made her heart ache. A pair of dwarves talked at one table, and a black-skinned man holding a chest sat near them. And flitting around the tavern, she couldn't believe her eyes! Little beings, with gossamer wings, who left trails of sparkles as they flew. Where was this place? Did Talechaser or Polar Bear, the other storyteller, come here to exchange stories with Faeriefolk? Oh! Someone had seen her! She ducked away. I must hide! She thought. If Fraulein or mother knows I'm in this area, they will lock me away for a week! Hastily, she limped away and dissappeared into the night.
