In article <1992May23.035607.9096@ucc.su.OZ.AU> pope@physics.su.OZ.AU (The Nightstalker) writes:
>"Pleasant dreams to you all, and be careful when going home...."

Demian rises from his chair, laughing softly, but in a way that still somehow
forces attention. "I thought I was the only one to have a true interest in
the dreams of others; I may be mistaken. Still, your earlier tale caught my
attention, and reminded me...there are two sides to every story. It took me
a certain amont of time to find this, but I think it was worth the effort."
He flips out his cloak, which remains where he holds it, and taps it. The
cloak shifts from a window onto a field of stars to another scene...one figure
present is the Nightstalker, the other is not familiar, except that from his
earlier story, and from the sequence of events, you can guess who she is...
that one who made Nightstalker what he is.

Abruptly Demian reaches _into_ the scene, and pulls out the woman, though at
the same time she remains within the image, and what has been drawn forth is
slightly ethereal, as if perhaps not fully real. "Milady, we have heard the
other side to this sorry scene; perhaps you would reveal your story?"
