The tall woman, who has by now realized that few of the denizens of the Inn
have heard of coffee, is about to leave when the runes begin to be etched
upon the noticeboard. Curious, she reads them as they appear.

As the runes mention the gold pieces, the woman's attiutude goes from apathy
to obsession. Her eyes glaze over as she waits impatiently for the runes to
spell out the time and place of the testing, and produces a pad of paper and a
stylus-like object with which she tries to write down the details. After a time,
she turns to the table nearest her and half-mumbles.
"Excuse me, I don't suppose you'd have a biro, kind sir?"

The blank look she gets causes her to shrug, and scribble on her hand with the
stylus. After a time, blue ink comes out of the stylus. With a grunt of
triumph, she notes down the time and place of the testing before tucking the
pad away in the pocket of her leather jacket.

"Three sunups away, eh..." She muses. Wonder if there's anything to do in this
tow in the meantime. The blank, glazed look in her eyes fades and she looks
normal again. Idly, she reaches into her shirt and brings out a silver
crucifix, about 6cm across, with the letters "ST" emmblazoned in a circle on
the crosspieces. She looks at it for a moment and then drops it so that it
hangs outside her shirt. She sits down at the nearest empty table, leans back,
places her hat over her eyes, and appears to doze.
