cast: those chasing Dougl and his kidnappers

..sage, flying above the confusion below, is suddenly aware that he is
being watched, but not by the normal means. As if on cue the kidnappers look
aloft and spy the circling egret. They seem to hesitate, then drag the
struggling boy into a nearby warehouse.

"they have taken the boy into the Warehouse on Shell Lane" the voice of
the archmage in bird form echoes in the minds of the chasers, "and Kron and
Karl are under the LowCity."
"I cannot see what is happening in the buildings but I know someone is
scrying us all. Be on your guard."

The egret circles several times over the warehouse and then, rising on a 
thermal, drifts out over the docks.

"I will keep watch incase they try and escape by ship and inform you of
what is happening."

ADMIN: ...sage and Kron have strung together a loose scenario of what the
       slavers will do. Please feel free to do whatever you want (especially
       getting sidetracked with the other 5 nasties), but use the info that
       Kron and I provide to get to the final showdown.
       I don't want to take over, just provide a sort of coherence that will
       build to a climax. Other threads will (and should) probably start from
       what we do.
