Subject: Meshtak: tries to help Rhoan but is ambushed also

Involved: those pursuing Dougl's kidnappers

Meshtak is running along with Tvarne, when they turn a corner and see Rhoan
has disappeared. However, they still see the slave cart in the distance, and
continue to chase it. Soon, they are overtaken and passed by Rhoan riding
on a mare.
Then, out of nowhere, a huge man appears in front of Rhoan. Rhoan is taken
by surprise and thrown from his horse. He is then attacked by two others men,
one a sort of lizard-man and the other...
"Well, I'll be blarked!" swears Meshtak. "It's our bald friend! Looks like he
didn't get enough punishment the first time around. Well, this time..." Meshtak
starts sprinting at the Scorpion, his sword changing to a wicked handaxe as
he runs.
Suddenly, a man appears before Meshtak. Meshtak tries to stop, but barrels
into the man...and then Meshtak is no longer running through the street, but
running off of the edge of a warehouse roof. It takes a second for Meshtak to
look down and see that this particular warehouse is not only protected by a
high wall, but the interior courtyard is filled with snarling orc-dogs. Meshtak
transforms his weapon into a whip, and cracks it up, succeeding in snagging it
around a pole. He dangles against the wall, the orc-dogs snarling and nipping
at his feet.
Meshtak pulls himself slowly back up to the top of the roof. He then turns
the whip into a crossbow, and starts taking shots at the orc-dogs. No luck, the
hides of the orc-dogs prove to be too resilient.
Meshtak thinks for a moment, finally swears "Grot!" and then dives into the pit
of waiting orc-dogs, his bow transforming into a battle axe.

(...sage - anyway you could get the name of the boat from Karl and put it into
our heads? It would make it easier to eventually get there.)
