However, they still see the slave cart in the distance, and >continue to chase it. Soon, they are overtaken and passed by Rhoan riding >on a mare. >Then, out of nowhere, a huge man appears in front of Rhoan. Rhoan is taken >by surprise and thrown from his horse. He is then attacked by two others men, >one a sort of lizard-man and the other... >"Well, I'll be blarked!" swears Meshtak. "It's our bald friend! Looks like he >didn't get enough punishment the first time around. Well, this time..." Meshtak >starts sprinting at the Scorpion, his sword changing to a wicked handaxe as >he runs. Striding in after Meshtak, Tvarne darts sideways towards the giant, intending to complete the defensive circle formed by the three allies, Rhoan retrieving his weapon from Slythe, Meshtak assaulting the Scorpian, and himself dashing in to prevent the giant attacking his allies flanks. The only flaw in the plan being that as Meshtak dashed towards the Scorpian, a man materialised before him, quickly dematerialising again. With Meshtak. And Tvarne's concentration. Tvarne is not used to voices in his head, instructional or no, imagined or not. The sensation of being thrown into a wall however, is more familiar, and Tvarne bounces off the wall towards the onrushing giant. Thagg laughed, "So Scorpian was right, you can fly. Do you die as gracefully?", never slowing his charge. Tvarne continued his rebound off the wall towards the giant, at the last moment diving between the gigantic thighs and arms, though rather than curling into a roll, he brings his legs through and momentarily bracing himself with his arms, thrusts his legs into the back of the passing Thagg, enough to overbalance the giant, and the wall barely survives this second barrage of flesh. Tvarne rolls to his feet and has to again dive, to avoid Scorpian's loving attention, this time he comes up running towards this latest assailant.
