At that moment, Kalere the mage appears at Rowan's side for a moment, and hands her a rose. [ADMIN: see other post] She turns back to the ghostly figure across from her. He hands her a tankard from Serene's tray. Rowan accepts the tankard gratefully, and takes a long drink. She closes her eyes for a moment, enjoying the feel of the liquid on her throat. She opens them again, as she hears him answer her question about his identity: >"Mmmm...I do not believe so," he said. "Or, rather, I think that >_you_ do not believe so, which is really just the same, in all." >The abstracted look vanishes, and he smiles cheerfully. With a flicker >of >his eyes, he indicates the large cloth bundle beside Rowan. >"Your harp, my dear?" >He downs some ale and his sparkling eyes gaze into hers almost ... >mischievously. Rowan glances down at her harp, then back up. "Yes, it is. It is my...livelihood." She nods toward his lute which rests by the table. "Yours too, I see." She suddenly realizes she is still holding the rose given to her by the mage. She sets it down upon the table, and continues to study the man across from her. She takes another sip of her ale. Sighing lightly she says, "Well then...what should I call you?" Although she says little, and keeps her feelings fairly well hidden, anyone studying her closely could see that she is somewhat nervous.
