After leaving harbour, the action on Broadmarch quietens considerably.
Maud even has time to feed the little dog he had been carrying inside
his cloak. The little dog was obviously very hungry and devours the tripe
ration! After a few minutes Maud has a plan ready: try to sneak to Dougl
and see to his safety.

Maud sneaks a look from under the cover of the life boat. Indeed, from
another life boat sneak two persons. Maud guesses they are Cedric
and William. These two persons pretend to belong to the crew of this
ship and obviously succeed, since they get to the cargo hold.

At the same instant Cedric and William vanish below deck, two people
appear above deck. Where only seconds before was only thin air, are now
standing Tvarne and Rhoan. Tvarne instantly disables the grey cloaked
man at the tiller. Other grey cloaked men approach fast. These grey
cloaked men seem oddly familiar to Maud.

A loud flapping sound can now be heard from above. A large bird is
trying to destroy the sails! Those grey cloaked men that aren't
engaging in battle against Rhoan and Tvarne start finding crossbows
to shoot ...sage with. Meanwhile a large man is shouting orders
at the bow. Some of the men previously engaged in shooting the bird
start preparing the guns and thus ...sage is saved.

Suddenly Rhoan seems to be in trouble. The woman in the bow is casting
a spell on him. The casting is cut short by Silken thrusting his sword
through the woman. At the same time a grey cloaked man is about to thrust
his sword in turn through the back of Tvarne. Instantly recognizing
that something must be done Maud takes the banana peel on the life boat
and throws it. The grey cloaked man slips on it and thus doesn't kill
Tvarne.

The guns of Broadmarch are fired! The guns of Narwhal are fired!
Narwhal draws near, men begin to pour over the side! An anchor flies
over the side and behind a life boat. The rope is pulled tight and
an awful looking and convulsing Rameshander is pulled to the side
along with the hook. Men from Morning's Breeze start pouring over
the side! Captives are taken!

Seeing that others have taken the matter of Dougl to their competent
hands and don't need Maud anymore, he decides to leave. Taking the
clock from his inside pocket he turns the hands of the clock backwards
twenty minutes. Maud vanishes. The small dog vanishes. Maud didn't
throw the banana peel. Maud didn't feed the small dog. They didn't
enter Broadmarch....

The corridor deep, deep underground hadn't seen any light for centuries. Now,
a light was approaching. The light steadily grew stronger, blinding all
creatures of dark that had been lurking in this corridor for ages.

A middle heighted man carrying the Sun (or so it seemed to the lurking
things) walked forward, finally reaching this place. Seeing that 'this
place' was in fact an intersection of several corridors, he picks the
corridor leaving right.
                 =====

The light slowly grows less. A distant mumbling can be heard: "Never,
never, never, never go adventuring without a map, never, never, ..."

ADMIN: Mysterious indeed are the ways of time here...
(Meshtak is still fighting at the town. The rescued prisoners
seem still to be in the cargo hold from where they escaped just
	moments before.)
