"The mother you seek could be a spiritual one, not a real one..." Or something along those lines... Lucas sighs... and then has a rare spurt of initiative! An idea! Grasping the wooden rabbit around his neck, he concentrates on communing with Fecunda in an Augury, hoping to narrow down the list of mothers to some- thing merely depressing rather than abyssmally hopeless... He has a funny feeling of being watched, but ignores it. After all, who could possibly be paying attention to him... Suddenly, he opens his eyes, looking a bit surprised... "Oh dear..." says Lucas, "I believe I'm about to be abducted..." Suddenly, with a flash! Blink appears in the inn next to Lucas... He can't resist looking around at all the patrons once with a big grin on his face, be- fore he grabs Lucas and teleports away again, leaving nothing but empty floor where they were standing... A receding voice is heard faintly from the space, muttering, "How ty- pical..."
