    Lancos absorbs the activity of the inn -- the various entrances and
departures of people -- as he completes his study of it. He had inwardly
hoped that someone would approach him, but it is not to be. He takes his
cue from A) an obviously new patron (Trisha) immediately sitting with
others, and B) the disappearances of two men (Gashweyr and Constantine)
from a third man's (Kadrys) table, and heads towards that location.
    Lancos sits down, and addresses Kadrys. "Greetings. My name is Lancos.
I hope that you don't mind my brief boldness, but I saw the departures of
your other companions, and figured you might want the company. I have
ordered myself a meal -- is there anything I can get for you?"
