He gets up from his seat and stretches a bit. He pays the barmaid for his drinks and bids her a fair "good eve'". He then exits the inn out into the Plaza of Glittering Steel and begins to head home. He stops at his store house before going home. He finds that Captain's supplies are nearly set for delivery. He grins slightly, pleased with the accolades of his workmen. He leaves the store house and is within minutes back at his own home. He enters his bedroom and seats himself on his bed, removing his boots and shirt to prepare for bed. He contemplates the events of the night, of the hardships of Luthor and of the sadness in his own life. After some thinking he resolves to give Luthor any assistance he possibly can. If they set off to seek vengence against this Queen then he can very possibly set up some new trade routes and possibly even find his lost brother John. He will go to the inn tomorrow and discuss with Luthor what course of action he intends to take from here. Having resolved that he pulls a large wooden chest out from under his bed. He opens the chest and removes a large gleaming sword from within. He begins to wield the sword as if fighting some unseen opponent, thoughts of days full of fun and adventure fill his head. He remembers the day he was given his father's sword, it was the day he died defending the town. The town chancellor had delivered it personally. Brycur could barely hold it off the ground then, much less wield it in battle. But, over the years he had learn to wield the sword with much skill, mostly out of neccesity with very little formal training. He rummages through the other objects in the trunk until he comes across an amulet which his mother had given him. It was a very powerful amulet which Brycur had never used once in his life. His mother had warned him only to use it under "dire circumstances". The sound of her voice when she told him this had frightened him enough that he had not used it to this day. Brycur sat for a while remembering his family before he put his last remnants of his family back into the chest under his bed. He then resolved to go talk to Luthor in the morning and to begin to make some plans. He then drifted off to a fitful sleep full of dreams of days spent adventuring and of unpleasant times of death and the loss of friends.
