Zia sits up and bows her head politely toward Lancos, and sweeps her hair back from her face at the same time. She looks at Kadrys expectantly and motions him for himto continue with his story. While waiting and listening she looks around intently and periodically adjusts the bamboo bracelet on her wrist (which was, before, on her ankle) she seems a little distracted. Eventually she jumps up and darts over to the bar where she apparently orders by gestures. She returns with a thin soup which she sips lightly while listening to Kadrys. Then, just as she finishes the soup the bracelet glows a light bamboo green... and Zia jumps up, darts through the crowds of the inn and disappears out the back door...! Then the front door swings open and a the unruly head of the younger-Zia pokes in, but only for a moment, as she scans the crowd, looks disatisfied and dissappears again. Outside it is dark. The older Zia returns, looking innocent and seats herself again. She look at Lucas and Kadrys with a comforting smile on her face. She peers at the now empty bowl in a slightly dissapointed manner then settles down again head on arms. -- Jem.
