      Seer threads a path through the chaotic streets of the riot in the 
Low City, with his two guards dragging Lucas along behind. Most of the
looters are too busy to bother them... those that do are unmercifully brain-
blasted by Seer, leaving a trail of broken bodies in their wake.

      Scanning ahead with his Clairvoyance for signs of trouble, Seer sud-
denly notices... Slythe! The Waster is just up ahead and to the right, flee-
ing over the rooftops. Seer hastens to intercept him.

     *Slythe!* he broadcasts to him...

     Slythe nearly falls off the roof in his surprise at Seer's summons...
he extends his long arms to the ground and lowers himself to speak with his
master...

     "Where is Scorpion, Slythe?" asks Seer in gratingly pleasant tones. 
"Where is Thrugg... WHERE IS KRON!!!"

     "I'm thorry, mathter... Kron had many companionth with him... we were dri-
ven back..."

     "Idiots!" rages Seer... "What of Scorpion and Thrugg?"

     "We were... ah... theparated in the battle, mathter... I don't know. I
barely ethcaped, mythelf..."

     "Damn you! Damn Kron and his meddling friends from that accursed Dragon's
Inn!" Seer rants... "Kron will have to wait, for now... Come, Slythe... we go
to pay a visit to Mother..."

     Slythe falls in line... Suddenly, Seer seems agitated. He looks up toward
the rooftops where Slythe came from...

     "We're being watched...." says Seer, a wicked smile on his face. He lets
loose a mindblast at the unseen follower [Nirvan], and the group enters the
heart of The Low City... Mother's domain...

ADMIN: It's gonna muck with the timelines somewhat (boy, that's a new one,
       isn't it 8-), but I'd like to see the whole Kron thing wrapped up on
       the night of the riot, as well... thereby giving us all a 'morning
       after' bit... This is of course ultimately up to you, Andrew, but I
       would guess that the fight at Ratty's is/was occuring at the same time
       as the defense of the Dragon's Inn... therefore, at this point we can
       just have two separate timelines... those at the Dragon's Inn are ex-
       periencing the 'Morning After' right now, to judge by their posts, while
       those of us in the Kron thread are still on the night before... so if
       Zia wants to join in on 'Save Kron' we'll just say that her little
       chase happened that night instead (which would probably work considering
       she didn't really do anything at the Inn 8-)

       ... Also gives us a nice, tidy rationale for the end of the riot...
       ... Great Mother is defeated/wounded/hurt just a teeny weenie bit/or
       just plain distracted, and the rioting stops, as her influence falls
       away from the people and they think "What the Hell am I doing here?!?"

       ....hmmm  :)

       Depression, Despair, and Exciting Climaxes...

       p.s. Malieu, you'll have to decide how that mindblast affects Nirvan,
but hopefully he will be in good enough shape to tell the rest of the guys
where Seer & Company went...
