Subject: Lathan (asks Khisanth for dinner) asks Head of Guard for a job

Lathan stood up from the table with Khisanth.  
Kissing her hand he said, "May I see you for dinner, tonight?"
Lathan pulled a golden rose from his pack and handed it to Khisanth.
He then departed to see the new head of the guard.  After a short ride
through mob raveged Generica, he arrived at "Big Red's" Post.
Seeing the old veteran in his office he promprly stated himself to the 
Guard.  "I see you have problems in your town, I can be a good part
of the solution.  I have been a knight for over 200 years and now fight
for justice where ever I may roam.  I need money and a job before I 
start out for my quest but that is another story.  So I offer my services
to you in whatever way you see fit and I in return get knowledge of 
Generica and a small salary. You can test my abilities if you see fit.
The choice is yours...", Lathan ended in a bow.

ADMIN: This is my part to get Lathan involved in the town politics and the
experience in the town guard to get respect from the town people.
