ADMIN. This is a meta-article. No plots are advanced herein.

This is quite true. When the 'chatsubo first started up I watched a lot
of storylines go stupid because of macho-posturing idiots. The same applied
to alt.callahans in spades to the 5th power. Net.egotism can be an incredible
pain in the ass, especially non-consensual net.egotism.

Yeah, there are PLANS for that magical energy, keep your hands off, you
greedy magic-leeches! (huffle huffle)

Well, actually, I suspect that ...sage, and I KNOW that 'Raelf, consider
themselves "normal" people, and they have their hopes and fears and aspirations.
True, ...sage is a bit more obsessive about knowledge than most people, even
The Sage (so far as has been demonstrated); 'Raelf is a traveller and tourist,
kind of a cross in personality between Dr. Who and a kender (minus the sticky
fingers). But he's got as much in common with Maud the Tourist as he has
with ...sage. Maybe more.

Actually, one of the reasons that 'Raelf has as much visible obnoxity as he
does, is to make it possible for him to talk to SunStorm without either
laughing out loud or being in absolute awe. I calibrated power levels when
creating the character, to fit a "hole" in the kinds of magic I've seen used,
and to generally match the potential power of some of the characters. If you
want to be REALLY sick go over to alt.callahans and invite the Sea Wasp to
visit the Inn ... He's from a 10+ year high-power-levels campaign.
Actually, please DON'T invite him, he'd feel obliged to show up, and I suspect
that things like the Great Mother in the Sewers would be a light sweat to him.

That's an interesting one. Also, the missing dragon is another one...
Where *IS* TrueSilver gotten to? Put out a hint or two, let someone
take a spin off of it, see what happens... Actually, an invitation, in
the [ADMIN] section of a posting, could be used to let people know that
it's OK to play with that spinoff.
