Subject: Azzar [Nester's] Wakes up with Captain

After Colin and Zia deposit Azzar and Captain at Nester's Inn, Azzar tosses and
turns fretfully, as if having a nightmare.  Those at the inn hear periodic
low moans and 'No!' repeated quite forcefully.  After a time, the noises quiet
down.

Azzar's nightmares turn into pleasant dreams as the poison's effects wear off
and the sleep becomes natural.  A smile grows on her face as she holds Captain
near, both still asleep.  She is dreaming of her husband, Tien the Royal
Huntsmaster, whom she had to leave back in the King's City while she quested to
regain her rangerhood.

She wakes, stretches, and yawns, feeling happy for the first time in months. 
She leans over to kiss Tien.  But as she does so, she feels the unfamiliar
bristle of Captain's beard. [ADMIN:  I hope Captain has a beard! ;)]  She looks
down at the man lying in the bed with her.  After a moment, it all comes back
to her:  her search for Thk, the fight in the alley, the fireball, tending to
Captain.  She gets up and searches the surroundings and finds the note and
amulet that Colin Silvertree left her:

>  The note reads:  "Azzar, we have gone off to help Kron.  should desire to
> rejoin us, the amulet I have left here will guide you to us in the swiftest
> way possible.  Simply think of me, and it will indicate how you should proceed.

Azzar opens the door to the the room softly to look out.  Nestor's wife happens
to look up just then, "Ahhh good!  You are awake.  Your friends were a might
worried about you both.  Should I send up some lunch now?"  Azzar nods and
closes the door.  Everything she had with her is there in the room, she could
leave any time with that amulet that Colin left.

She leans over to see how Captain is, noticing for the first time a stiffness
in her side.  'I didn't even know I'd gotten hit!  That must be what knocked me
out,' she thinks to herself.  The effects of the poison seem to have worn of
Captain as well as he is sleeping peacefully.  'Should I wake him now?  Or let
him sleep and follow if he chooses in his own time?'

Just then, a knock comes on the door and the smell of a hearty stew and fresh
bread waft into the room.  "Come in!"  The door opens and Nester's wife enters
with two bowls, a loaf of bread, and some mead. "Just set it on the table over
there, please."  She does so and leaves.  Azzar goes to the table to eat.  The
smell of food has brought out her hunger.
