ADMIN: Just got back from Fourth of July Vac. 

Lathan shook his head, waking up from a horrible daydream-like trance.
He saw many new people at the table.  
Lathan stood up and bowed deeply.
"My name is Lathan Lancehand.  For those who don't know me well, I am
an ex-cavalier now town guard.  I had fought in a Qualinesti army in 
Krynn for 200 years before being sucked into Ravenloft.
"I have several talents that may come in handy to those here.
First, My first obligation is to defend the mages or others in need
of staying in the backlines.  I deal with other warriors before spell
casters, to do other wise is cowardly.
I am good with a lance, though I do not like to carry one.  I prefer to use
my Great-sword.  It is of elvish make and is very light.  I can hear noises
well.  I can to quite a few tricks with Valiant, my horse, some for show 
others for battle.  My horse can fly for short periods of time for any one
that needs help or medical attention, this comes in handy for mounting sneak
attacks.  
My armor is Plate of Blending, so I may turn almost invisible to my 
surroundings.  Please don't tell anyone, this is between me and you,
my companions.
I can't cast spells.
