Subject: [L] Lathan takes on bandit capt.

"No matter, we can kill you ourselves," the leader said as he bent into
a fight/charging crouch.  He wouldn't be as easy to kill as the others.

Lathan saw the leader get into his fighting postion and decided to 
counter with his own.  Lathan whispered to Murell
"I'll take on the big one.  Delay the others until the rest get here."
Lathan let out a loud elvish warcry and charged at his advisary.  The 
mighty elf uleashed a crushing blow but the brigand captian parried
it.  The captian poked his sword at Lathan but it bounced off harmlessly.
Lathan jumped and rolled beside the man, popping up with a thrust that 
found its mark in the mans stomach.  Wounded, the man struck back furiously
hitting Lathan in the head.  The blow was deflected off his helmet but it was
still enough to cut Lathan's cheek from his eye to his mouth.
Lathan shrugged off the minor wound and swung his Greatsword at the man
before the man could fully recoil from his last swing.  The sword cut deeply
into the leaders leg.  Lathan followed up with a cut that struck his 
opponents sword, sending through the air, landing on the ground.  Lathan
stood waiting for his disarmed foes next move...
