 Thk stares in amazement at the gnarled, pint-sized being at his feet.
 It seems to be speaking to him.  He has never seen anything quite like
 it.  He looks up at Verdigren.

 "Verdigren, I do believe we've found sssonmething *punier* that you!"

"I will ignore that last remark, Sir Lizard, for your health.
 Let us put our differences aside for a moment...wait", Gillian 
 stammers as he turns his back to the handless lizard.  He holds
 his amulet tight in is little hands and closes his eyes, seemingly
 in a state of deep concentration.  His skin begins to bubble all
 over.  His bones begin grow larger pushing against the skin.  
 The bubbling  begins to slow and takes a greenish color. The 
 small gnome now stands 6'2'' with green scaley skin. 
     
"Now, that's better",whispers the now reptillian gnome.
 He turns to Thk, whos eyes are still glossy with amazement.
 "When do we go after you lost limb"
 Gillian laughs to the white faced people of the inn," Sorry about
 that, I forgot just how unpleasant is!"
