The man was rather broken, the fall had shattered many bones. He, won't live anyway, Sal thought, slitting the man's throat. Looking at what the mage had, Salamander took the wand, and placed it in his belt. This ought to be usefull for Bakr And.. this ring, I may need.. Sal also hefted the money sack. well, this I think shall be split among the rest of us. About this time, Lathan returned to the ground. "Nice shot," he said. "anything interesting on him?" "Oh, this wand, a ring, and some money. Come on, we ought to be getting back to the rest of the group." "What about the other bandit? Where is he?" said Lathan looking around for a body. "Sorry, but I thought the mage was more dangerous, so I helped you take him out," replied Salamander shrugging his shoulders. The two rode back, leaving the body in the clearing. When they got back to the wagon, Salamander raised the sack of gold. "Hey!! look what I found in the woods!" Murell looked over from where he was talking to Brycur and saw the two approaching. Luthor walked over to Salamander and "helped" carry the items from the mage. "Well again," said Luthor and Murell simultaneously in the traditional greeting of missing friends. They looked over at each other and laughed. Bakr could be seen sitting up sleepily from his resting place in the back of the wagon. "All present and accounted for," said Brycur as he began collecting their things and putting them in the back of the wagon, next to a sleepy Bakr. "Well then, lets get moving before the stench of death draws some scavangers to us," said Lathan, moving his horse into position. "What about the treasure?" asked Brycur. "We'll split it up when we camp for the night, agreed?" Luthor said while helping Murell move the injured bandit into the back of the wagon. "Who's your friend Luthor?" snarled Lathan seeing the bandit and feeling a bit disgusted. "I found him in the forest and couldn't leave him there, so I brought him back," Murell said, hefting the stretcher. "We'll talk about this on the way. I think we should put some distance between us and this place before dusk." Luthor saw that it was getting toward late afternoon by the position of the sun. With things settled for now, the Luthor Questors rode South East, toward the portal to the Forgotten Realms. Salamander jmc6182@ultb.ics.rit.edu or linus@nick.csh.rit.edu Kaeli (thief): "Hey guys!
