The red-haired one admonished her, but did not see her advantage.  It was
competition she desired, and her taunts succeeded where the sailors would
otherwise scorn her challeges.  However, it was becoming rather tiring, and
she did not care to displease the kitty-cat.
   "A swim?" she queried as she climbed back down the ladder, and picked up
the tunic she had discarded earlier.  The heat was beginning to make her
irritable, and she wanted nothing more than to play in the clear, cool water.
