Subject: [KQ] Maleiu[Warehouse]: That Was Fun--NOT!

Maleiu lay gasping on the floor of another corridor, bleeding profusely from
piranha bites.  His arm, which was already bleeding from the orc-dog bite, had
been savaged more by the piranhas, and the rest of him was not unscathed.

"Does somebody have a potion of healing?" Kron asked.  "Maleiu looks pretty
bad."  Someone murmured that they did[Azzar?]and soon Maleiu felt a sticky
liquid being poured down his throat.  He started to breathe easier and he felt
the pain of his wounds easing.

"Thank you," he whispered, getting to his feet.  Azzar's arrow still pointed
down the corridor.  They kept close together, alert to the continued danger of
becoming separated.  Sure enough, as they neared the opposite door, another
slab emerged from the wall to cut off their retreat.  No murder holes opened,
though.

Kron murmured, "I've got a bad feeling about this..." as they stood before the
door.  Colin turned the latch on the door and pushed it open carefully.

A huge tentacle snaked out, wrapped around Colin's waist, and pulled him into
the room.  "Shit!" he yelled.  The rest of the party saw a large octopoid
creature staring at them with round eyes, and more waving tentacles.  Colin was
lofted high into the air where the creature could study it.  The other
tentacles wandered around lazily.

Rhoan was the first to move.  "Well, don't just stand there--let's go in there
and do something!"  There were slightly embarrassed murmurs of assent from the
rest of the group, and they dashed into the room.  The free tentacles, now
given targets, lashed out with more purpose...

ADMIN:  This here's a Khymrath Leviathan, as I recall, and once we kill it, we
can go down to the next level...  I hope you don't mind Colin's getting
snatched, Jim...  Ah, heck with it.  I >love< taking liberties with your
characters!  Ha ha ha!  ;-}  Tell you what--the next person who posts can have
Maleiu snatched up into the air, too, to give me something to do in my next
post.  Agreed?
