Immediately Brycur's eyes became transfixed on the skinless inside-out type creatures that were standing in the room. Never had he seen anything so horrifying and disgusting in all of his life. "That's disgusting!" came the familiar voice from his sword, "Brycur, you must not wield this sword in any way as I need to concentrate on this spell. I must not be interrupted. Understand?" No response came from Brycur, he stood helplessly enthralled at the creature that stood before him. The creature saw Brycur helplessly wrought with disgust for the loathesome creature so it moved to finish him of quickly. Maice, realizing that if Brycur was to die to this horrible thing he would not be able to hold up his part of the deal. Soon the chanting started, and the sword began to glow. The creature paused (Admin: as I don't know what they are I assume they have SOME intelligence), sensing the chanting of magic, but knowing no fear it quickly ressumed its attack. Brycur stood, his stomach turning, but he was unable to turn his eyes away from the creature. Suddenly a huge hand appeared between Brycur and the creature, completely obscurring it from view. The hand clenched around the creature and began to crush the life from it. Ten feet tall the hand stood, crushing the life from its entrapped victim. Muffled cries of rage mixed with cries of pain could be heard coming from within the hand. But after a few short moments the cries stopped, the hand opened and the apparently lifeless form of the creature fell to the ground. [Admin: Murell was fighting one of the skinless things while Brycur was crusing the other. Brycur thought the thing was dead but it got up later and attacked Murell, just as Murell killed the other skinless thing.] The hand began to move toward the Queen's throne, however, when it came close to her it vanished. "Hm, some type of dispell magic spell. You'll have to fight her with more conventional means, either that or get within here protective sphere, if she can cast from inside that sphere, I should be able to as well." Maice said pondering. Brycur looked around the room, slowly regaining his composure, and making sure no one would attempt to prevent them from attacking the Queen. Many of the guards were standing around, unsure of who to side with. Some had already fled at the sight of the skinless creatures, others were still recovering from the sight of them. -Brycur the Merchant
