Newsgroups: alt.pub.dragons-inn From: cam@mullet.gu.uwa.edu.au (Cameron Neylon) Subject: [W] Williams Story part seven (thank God It's over!) Message-ID: <1992Aug25.074559.22547@mullet.gu.uwa.edu.au> Date: Tue, 25 Aug 1992 07:45:59 GMT I cmae around in a an alley, fairly late at night, and extremely cold. It appeared they had dropped me to be able to escape. I hurt all over, and in a few otherplaces as well, my head was fit to shake itself off my head and I had obviously thrown up a few times in my stupor. I didn't know where to go or what to do, so I bundled myself up in my cloak, pulled together a pile of rubbish and climbed underneath it to keep warm. I didn't sleep that night, but I drifted in and out of consciousness cnstantly. The morning finally came Around and I crept out to search for some food. They had left a little money with me, enough to buy some food, and a place tp stay fro a few days. I wandered down to the docks, where I figured they would be trying to hide. I wandered around the city for three weeks, searching for them, finally giving up and searching for them in the desert. I searched this country for two years, occasionally hearing of Eloise, and racing off only to find she had left again. The war was going badly, and ultimately three continents were over run. I managed to escape from that world, and I've been wandering for 50 odd years, ( I managed to steal a potion of youth ), and I've finally ended up here. Somebody said I should find someone called Woen, or Mae-something, or Zee . . Sat (?) . . no I can't remember the name anymore. But I'm here anyway." Serene, returning briefly from serving another customer still looks puzzled, " . .but what's that got to do with the ship?" "Oh," he says, "the ship was a model of the ship that took us to the city, it's also the last clay I had from my home world. That model was the only link I ever had to her . . .and now its lost." Admin: Well thank god thats over! Next! -- Cameron Neylon cam@gu.uwa.edu.au I can't think of anything witty enough that people would really want to see it time after time after . .
