(Y'all know Serene - she's available for your posts to fetch food and
drink, real interactions are mine. Please send me your favorite drink
for the next posting of the Barlist)

Careful to avoid the huge blue-orbed weapon, Serene comes to the side
of the newest, both-feeted arrival. "First this, Traveler, your ale
will follow." A stein of cool water with a bit of ginger is pressed
into his hands. When the grey-eyed woman sees that he is drinking, she
gets a mug of the best pale from Littlefair. Food follows shortly,
Mary's stew with generous chunks of cheese and bread, and a basket of
salted potato bits.

Those who know Serene will see that she does not move as quickly today
as she is wont to do, nor quite as steadily. She also has an end of a
spool of thread hanging out of her apron pocket, which the perennial
kitten bats and follows, until distracted with a saucer of cream.

Another round for all, then she takes a break without Mary's urging.
She has been looking for someone to enter, waiting.
