Shade drops into one of the low chairs, and looks around expectantly... -Oh, by the way...the entrance is kept under close surveillance, last time by two guys with their heads wrapped in cloth.... ...he smiles. Now, Shade, to catch you up on what has just transpired here. We were visited by a slave woman, her name was Tillieflowers, she bore a message for Karl. She said that the Mage Amaan is possing as a merchant named Jamin bes-Adhem. He is currently staying at an inn nearby. This Amaan did not seem too happy with Karl, or us for that matter. It seems that Amaan was expecting to leave fairly soon, like today. We have not seen Karl for some time now, and now that it is almost in the middle of the night, I don't know if we will see Karl or not. I sure as well hope so. At any rate, Tillie said that there were also two other slaves accompanying the mage, on loan from One Juhlavi bes-Pelmaj. They seem to be wanting freedom from their masters. I don't know if it is neccessary if we tel Karl about this, because Amaan is also "defecting" to Generica. I don't know if Karl knows this or not, I would rather have one of us talk to him before we alert him about all this." Shade sat for a moment, "Well, ok, but let us have you change first." "Oh my, I saw that Slave woman in this," Radan exclaimed looking at himself. "Well, thank you very much for the change of clothes." Radan slid out of his tunic, "yuck yuck yuck, I hate it when this happens, I always have to get a new shirt. I am going to bathe as well, Shade, thanks again." Radan went into the room with Killian splashing around and cleaning vigorously his body parts. "I need a bath too. How is the water?" Radan said taking his clothes off and sliding into an adjacent bath tub. "This feels great! I could stay here for quite a while..." Killian sank under the water and came up with water running down his face and hair. After about a quarter of an hour, Radan got out and dried off, "I really needed one of those! I will see you out there Killian." Radan put his new clothes on and left the room. Out in the main room, Shade sat pondering all the information that Radan had just told him about. "I don't think that Karl will be too pleased to here that news, I wonder if the two outside are in connection with all this? What say you, Radan?" "I don't know at this time, but I would be inclined to think that they might have something to do with us. But if you were outside, then they might not have anything to do with any of us, maybe some of the other emissaries are who they are after? Let us not worry too much about them until Karl comes back. We will have to talk with him about all of this. You, Jenever, Killian and Rhys are welcome to stay for that conversation, but we should keep the talking to just one person, to keep him from loosing interest and patience. Any ideas who should talk to him?" "Well, you have been the center, like the hub of the hive so to speak. I suggest that you be the spokesperson for right now. I hope that everything goes well." Shade answered. The others, eccept for Killian who was still bathing, and Jenever who was inching her way to the bath area, agreed to that decision. "So be it, then. I am going down stairs and getting some wine-for both you and I Shade, and Ale for Rhys, Jen, and Killian. Maybe some snacks-fresh fruit if its possible, and maybe some meat. So I will be back in a short time. I suggest that everyone stay here for the time being so as to keep together. I will see you all soon." Radan opened the door and sped down the stairway to the front desk. Ordered his wine and ale, meat, fruits and some vegetables, too. Went directly up to the rooms and distributed food to everyone that wanted some. Afterwards, Radan sat with the group around a table and listened to Killian play some songs on his instrument, not any with words, just listening and talking with his friends. "I am really glad you are all with us again. I missed you all, and I hope that we never have to suffer the losses again. I will help any of you ifyou ever need it, even after this voyage is finished." Radan solemnly swore to all present. "And now, I have to get some rest, as I am sure all of you must too. Who wants to take first Watch? I know that this is an Inn to the Court, but things still happen, so I suggest I will take first watch, Any one else is welcome to join me, or take the second shift." Radan sat back and waited for replies... ADMIN: I am glad that Killian and Jenever and Shade are back. I hope this wasn't too long and that no one minded my imporompto of the conversations in this post.
