Message-ID: <1992Sep30.223502.15878@cheshire.oxy.edu> Date: Wed, 30 Sep 1992 22:35:02 GMT Ok, now Blade is getting frustrated. Not only is Meshtak safe in the Dragon's Inn, but it seems like everyone who sees him is attacking him. Right now, Blade is being attacked by some creature in armor, and Blade is just too slow to deal with him. His exo-skeleton is powerful enough to deflect whatever the creature is throwing at him, but when the projectiles hit the blades covering Blade, they break the tips off, and Blade finds he is leaving little slivers off himself in front of the door of the inn. Just then, Trawm comes out of the inn. Blade does his best to ignore the cyber-ninja, his eyes glowing in anticipation. Then following Trawm comes...a little boy? Blade stares at the lad. Surely, this was not who the Great Mother sent him after! Mechatack takes one look at Blade, and screams in his high pre-pubescent voice. "AIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" He starts to run, but accidently steps on a sliver of Blade, and plops on the ground, his foot bleeding. He gapes at Blade, his lower lip quivering. "Pleaz don' hurt me, mister...I ain't no one...jes' Mechatack, a page from the City Keep..." Blade regards the young lad. So this is Meshtak, and he even admits it. Oh, well, thinks Blade. At least it will be an easy kill. He lurchs toward the quivering lad. Suddenly, a battle axe slams into the side of Blade's head. It only slightly chips Blade's exoskeleton, but it also causes a ringing sensation in Blade's ears. Blade turns to see what it is. Meshtak stands behind Blade, his axe in his hand. His bloodshot eyes blaze, and he sways drunkenly, pointing at Blade with his free hand. "Hey!" the Draga bellows. "Leave tha kid alone!" Meshtak the Draga (Notes for others fighting Blade: His exoskeleton makes him virtually indestructible, and his skin is so knife covered that it pretty much makes him impossible to touch without getting cut. The best way I can see to take him out is to get him out to the shore and somehow sink him. He is really heavy and would sink like a stone, plus when he hit the bottom he would most go back to sleep rather than trying to get back out. So basically we need to herd/lure him to the ocean. Anyone want to help?) -- "You can't help that. We're all mad here."-The cheshire cat, Alice in WL "A mass hysteria/a megalomania/reveal Dementia/reveal"-Metallica
