Subject: Meshtak, deflects Blades attack

Blade suddenly understands. It is not the child he is after, but this cat-man
that now stands before him. Blade continues his rush toward the draga (which
is not very fast at all, Blade being very slow) Meshtak seems more alert now,
adrenalin burning away the alcohol very quickly and restoring him to sobriety.
Trawm is sitting to the side, healing and enjoying what he thinks will be a
very good fight.
	However just as Blade closes in on Meshtak, Meshtak takes his whip
and unrolls it under Blade. Blade pays it little attention, until it shifts
into the shape of a bo staff, and suddenly Blade is wedged on the end of the
staff, the other end stuck in the ground. Meshtak grabs the staff quickly,
and using Blade's momentum, flips the dark creature over his head. Blade comes
down on his back, and struggles to right himself.
	Meshtak takes a moment to shoot a couple of arrows into Blade, but they
don't penetrate the creature's powerful exoskeleton. So Meshtak rushes over to
Arcadio. "You a wizard?" he asks desperately. "Never mind, it doesn't matter.
Can you help me lure this guy to the docks? I can't pull too many tricks
like that before getting skewered."
	Meanwhile, Blade is mad. He looks up and attacks the first thing he
sees...which happens to be Chip. "Kill Meshtak!" he snarls, lumbering at Chip
and looking menacing.
	Meanwhile, the sound of galloping horses is heard...a small contingent
of the guard, sent to check things out.

(Sorry, Chip, but you DID say you wanted some action. Just don't hurt Blade
too badly, kay?)
