Seeing that no one is paying all that much attention to him, he says,
"Well, if anyone happens to remember something, I'll just be at this
empty table, in the middle of the room."  With that he trots over to
the table he pointed towards and struggles onto the rather tall seat.

While climbing the chair, some people notice a small pouch fall out from
somewhere inside his cloak.  It lands with a slight thud, and the gnome doesn't
seem to notice as it lands just behind his seat, as he proceeds to order
a short glass of cider.
