   After being shoo'd away from some interesting cards,
Medor scrambles to the edge of the table.  Magic is thick in
this place and his mind wanders to other things in the room.

   Most of the people in the room radiate more magic than
his current owner.  (He's not completely attached to
Artimian... His "brother" was the one who attached to him
and Medor just went along for the ride.)  The night lizard
observes that in fact, most inanimate objects radiate more
magic than Artimian.

   He drops onto the floor and scurries over to a nearby
table.  He looks up a human's leg and sniffs.  With a simple
leap and twist, Medor digs his claws into the bottom surface
of the table.  He walks over to the human and sniffs again.

   'I thought so!' Medor thinks and with another simple
movement is inside the human's jacket pocket.  He opens up a
small vial and drinks the contents, smiling to the best of
his ability.

   Then the human disappears.  Medor and the empty vial land
on the empty chair.  He looks around and sees the human now
at the bar, talking to someone who entered during another
timewarp.

   Medor smiled again.  'This place is much more fun than my
former owner!'

   He looks around for something else to do...
