I have a friend who is a powerful spellcaster, probably the strongest in my homeworld, who would love to hear about this sometime. If you don't mind, I'll mention you to him when I return home. I don't plan on heading home too soon, however, so this would be in the far future. "Hmmm... so this structure can have unpredictable side effects if not handled properly? This sounds a lot like what happens in chaos regions- places I've heard about, I think locally they're called wild magic zones- where any power used has unpredictable results as well. Only this opens portals to random worlds? I can see how dangerous this can be. Is there a way to destroy the outlets formed, and set them to a more desired place? Although I have no skill with rune magic, I may be able to help in other ways.
