Ixnaphior nods agreement here. Even with his limited knowledge of magic, some,
if not most, of the runes were easily recognizable.

Ixy listens more intently here, as the is of genuine interest to himself, and
he knows that his friend back home would love to learn more of this.

A look of astonishment appears on Ixy's face. He had never seen an act of
alchemy done like this through any means, except for one very compicated
ritual, and even then the material had to be carefully chosen.

"No, more depth is not necessary. While I am quite interested, I would not
understand anything detailed. I have a friend who is a powerful spellcaster,
probably the strongest in my homeworld, who would love to hear about this
sometime. If you don't mind, I'll mention you to him when I return home. I
don't plan on heading home too soon, however, so this would be in the far
future. He has been studying the magics of many worlds, and probably has some
knowledge of this as well--- But I am wasting your time talking about my
friends.

"Hmmm... so this structure can have unpredictable side effects if not handled
properly? This sounds a lot like what happens in chaos regions- places I've
heard about, I think locally they're called wild magic zones- where any power
used has unpredictable results as well. Only this opens portals to random
worlds? I can see how dangerous this can be. Is there a way to destroy the
outlets formed, and set them to a more desired place? Although I have no
skill with rune magic, I may be able to help in other ways.
