True, he had not expected her attack.  However, it was easily dodged and
deflected.  He was still, impressed, though, and was amazed that this strong
willed creature was the same one who had wandered into the inn crying about
an outrage.

"As your teachers of old would try?  My dear, everything you remember is 
because of me.  I know all of your memories and feelings because I
reconstructed them.  I don't mean to be rude, but is to your benefit to realize
what exactly I know about you --- everything."

"As for discomfort, there was none.  I was not out of the water long enough
to dry out much..."

In re-acquainting himself with his surroundings, Indigo has noticed the
artistic endeavors of Ixnaphior and his offer of a tale.

"Please, good sir, tell us your story.  There _was_ a story teller weaving a
tale about a fish before, but I must have missed the second part.  Oh!  About
your warning to take care in revealing the location of the Silver Sword:
he was under the impression that _you_ had dealt with the threat, Ixnaphior."
