Garriot also absently greets Alaric, but is clearly distracted by the map.
"Yes," he mutters to himself.  "Mountains...that's right, it WAS in the 
mountains, but cold, very cold.  And the sky was red..."  He comes to with
a shake of his head (something his companions are getting used to) and says,
"This will certainly help; my thanks.  But I have a feeling we have much
farther to travel than this map shows...but that can wait until after
breakfast.  I'm buying."
