Behind him he hears the roars of anger, the cries of pain, and the clash of weapons that mean the snail-men have entered the brawl. Meshtak goes for the snail-man growing a new head, seeing him as the immediate threat. He starts hacking at the creature, concentrating on reducing it to teeny-tiny pieces. As he finishes off the creature, reducing it to a point it can't possibly regenerate from, he becomes aware that the other four snail-men are now up and advancing. As Meshtak backs away, ready to deflect any attack made by the four, his mind wanders back to the old tales of how to defeat a horde of regenerating beings. Mostly these tales concerned attacking trolls, but these snail-men seemed similar. Meshtak recalled the tales for the most part advised using fire to destroy them. Meshtak acts like he is about to strike, but as the snail-men enter defensive stances, he turns and runs back into the tavern. They chase him. The tavern is in a complete state of chaos and destruction. Most of the brawlers had joined forces and were trying to defeat the snail-men, but a few still fought amongst themselves. The floor was littered with snail-men pieces and regenerating snail-men, and bleeding corpses. As Meshtak made his way towards the bar, one brawler, thinking he was on the side of the snail-men, took a swing at the draga. Meshtak easily ducked the blow, and dove past the brawler. The brawler moved to follow Meshtak, but was attacked from behind by the four snail-men, and slumped to the floor bleeding. Meshtak saw Trawm out of the corner of his eye, having an exceedingly unproductive battle with another snail-man. Trawm appeared to be enjoying himself; the snail-man appeared frustrated. Finally Meshtak came to the bar, and found what he had been seeking. A giant keg of Black Demon ale (tm). He smiled. Meshtak the Draga -- "You can't help that.
