Subject: [L] New Character Watches Luthor


     She approached The Dragons Inn as she darted between the people in the
crowded street.  Being of slight elven build, she had little in the way of
brute strength and bulk with which to push her way through.  The crowd had long
since broken up after the psionic battle between Luthor and his opponent, and
the fallen had already entered The Dragons Inn.  All this she had watched from
her perch high on a rooftop, safe from notice in the shadows of a chimney.
     She walked boldly through the doors as would a regular patron, although
she had never been here before.  Immediately she was struck by the odd number
of corners, all of them strangely deeply shadowed and most of them occupied.
Stepping into the inn, she quickly surveyed the room and located the darkest,
blackest spot in the room, Luthor's cloak.  With a deep intake of breath she
ignored the catcalls that she received from the one end of the room and
proceeded to a table near the one with the human with the BLACK cloak and sat
down.  As she took off her hooded cloak, revealed to the other patrons at the
inn was an attractive elven woman of pale skin with whitish-silver hair and
amber eyes.  Ordering a drink, the elven woman sat to watching the cloaked man
who was currently conversing with a gnome, wondering how she was to
introduce herself to the man.
     Luthor, meanwhile, couldn't but help feel he was being watched as he was
in deep conversation.  Everytime he would turn around, however, the elven woman
whom he believed was watching him would be found studying the inn's other
patrons.


          Always trust your instincts, they seldom lead you wrong.
