Is Arcadio in The Spitting Cobra, or did he leave to help the others fight the demon horses? I'm going to assume that he left and is with them. I think we can solve the Blobs or Zombies question by saying Hendrix's zombies met up with a band of Beethwax's clones before attacking Farnham.] As Meshtak stood on the bar, hefting the giant keg of Black Demon ale (tm), it occured to him through his adrenalin and excitement that it might not be such a good idea to set the Spitting Cobra on fire...and setting the blobs on fire would do just that. He could just see the snail-men staggering around, burning, setting everything else on fire. Meshtak paused. When he paused, he realized that he had a pretty good overhead view of the entire pub from on top of the counter, and he could see the destination point of the snail-men: they were all pouring into the arena, and attacking Blade. By then, there was at least 35 surrounding the spiked behemoth, all clinging to him, trying to pull him down. Blade was doing a fine job of slaughtering, shredding and generally mutilating the attackers, but they were doing a similarly good job of keeping him pinned. As Meshtak watched in shocked fascination, the snail-men concentrated their efforts on opening Blade's mouth. Though sustaining heavy damage, they succeeded in doing so, and one snail-man reached in, digging around in Blade's mouth. Blade thrashed around, but was unable to shake his attackers. Finally, the snail-man pulled his hand back out of Blade's mouth, and in his hand, he held a lifeless lump of black. Blade's tongue. This shocked Meshtak out of his trance, and with a mighty heave, he slammed the keg of ale at the four attacking snail-men. The momentum of the flying keg threw them backwards, and all four fell into the arena. The keg landed on top of Blade's head, shattering and spilling alcohol over the clinging snail-men. It trickled into the blood on the arena floor. Meshtak took a nearby candle, tossed it in, and watched as the flames filled the arena. Meshtak the Draga -- "You can't help that.
