The merman awakens, and stretches his body out, arms and tail extending, trying
to rid his limbs of sleep.

"Whale? I _was_ only kidding. It's a phrase akin to 'I could eat a horse'.
Oh well, I've had it before, and it wasn't all that terrible. But how could
it get cold?"

His purple eyes suddenly glinted with understanding.

"Oh. It's _cooked_. Well, I guess there is a first time for everything,"
seeing a need to explain himself, "You can't really cook food over a flame
underwater."

He bites into his food, and a smile crosses his face. "You know, I might enjoy
this place after all," he says, and proceeds to clean his plate.

He looks over the small form. Not really his problem, but it was interesting
nonrtheless. If Moria had any problems, no doubt he could awaken the tiny
figure.
