Subject: [blade] Meshtak replies to Farnham

Meshtak follows Farnham's progress. "I went and talked to Blade...didn't
get him to say much, but he did say that Mother had sent him...something
called Mother...but then the entire tavern got attacked by these Blob
things...they sounded like what Chip said one of the guardsmen had mutated
into. Anyhow, theses snail-men things attacked Blade and cut out his
tongue...it was like they were sent to silence him. I was thinkin...you
think this thing thats goin' around mutating people...do you think
its 'Mother?' Maybe Blade was another mutation."
At this point, the bad smell of all the rotting things becomes too much
for Meshtak and he staggers backwards coughing and gagging. (The draga nose
is more sensitive than a humans.) Meshtak stands at a distance. "That
smells REALLY bad!" he calls.
